MEM30719 Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction
Embark on a hands-on journey in marine craft construction
Project-based training covers design, CAD usage, timber construction, and composite molding.
Graduates can contribute to manufacturing or repair organisations, crafting diverse marine craft, from kayaks to superyachts.
This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required by a tradesman working in marine craft construction. Training is project-based and covers all aspects of the construction process from design and drawing including the use of CAD , timber construction of plugs, and composite moulds and products. People with this qualification may work in a manufacturing or repair organisation producing a variety of marine craft from kayaks and superyachts.
