Munster
Our Munster Campus is a state-of-the-art specialist training facility aligned to the needs of the mining, oil and gas, engineering, mineral and chemical processing industries.
This campus is also home to the Australian Centre for Energy and Process Training (ACEPT), a world-class facility recognised by industry for its specialist training capability. It has an operating oil and gas facility and process plant, enabling students hands-on experience in a real-life industry setting. The ACEPT Diploma and Advanced Diploma were the first vocational courses of their kind to be accredited by Engineers Australia, the largest and most diverse professional industry body in Australia.
Munster campus also has purpose built Applied Engineering facilities including IOT home automation, 3D printing, CNC-milling, laser, precision milling and vinyl cutting. The campus also features a material testing lab which includes tensile testing, impact testing, compression testing, soil analysis and heat treatment testing. In addition, Munster campus includes a purpose-built mechatronics room that deals with circuit design and simulation software for multiple technologies such as:
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- PLC controls
- HMI control panels
- SCADA and DCS
- Electro technical motor controls
- Digital electronics

The library provides:
- A large and diverse resource collection of books, magazines and DVDs, both physical and online
- Assistance with researching for information and answers to reference enquiries
- Information sessions on library and information services, supported with published and online information guides
- Assistance with study, referencing and learning skills
- Networked and wireless computer areas
- Access to electronic information such as internet and databases
A lunch room is provided for students to heat and prepare lunch and snack items. No cafeteria operates on site but a food van visits most days with a rage of food and drinks. A cafe is located a short walk from the campus offering more substantial food options.
Vending machines are available on site for drinks and snacks.

Parking
Munster campus has parking available for students surrounding the campus buildings, accessible via Gardiner Avenue. As Munster campus has specialist emergency exit protocols, all parking is reverse only.
Public transport
Munster campus is accessible via bus stops on Stock Road, directly in front of the campus. Visit Transperth's Journey Planner, using Munster campus as a landmark to plan your trip.
Since the Munster campus is a registered Work Safe site, we have additional safety requirements to ensure the well-being of both students and staff. At the start of your course, you will need to complete the General Campus Induction. If your course requires you to enter the Process Plant area, you must also complete the Plant Induction.
Basic considerations when coming to campus include, but are not limited to:
- Reverse parking
- Wearing fully enclosed shoes
