Our Prospective Student Advisors are trained Careers Advisors that sit inside our Jobs and Skills Centres. They keep up to date with job trends as a wider interconnected network of the Jobs and Skills Centres.
They spend most of their time in one-on-one appointments with job-seekers to identify transferrable skills, skills for Recognition of Prior Learning and credit to TAFE study pathways that have job demand outcomes. They also help guide students through TAFE entrance requirements, selection processes and apprenticeships and traineeships.
When they work with schools and community groups, they provide a free service, sharing information including career planning, career pathways and course opportunities to groups interested in vocational education. You can request assistance in these ways:
- host a Zoom meeting
- share videos and newsletter content with your group
- attend a careers expo
- present to your school or community group in person
Use the form below or for careers information, job trends and TAFE applications advice, subscribe to the Pathways to Success newsletter(opens in a new tab) . Please note your information will be processed by the Jobs and Skills Centre events team.
