This skill set is designed to equip both new and existing workers in the community services and care/support roles with the essential skills to communicate effectively and provide person-centred care that supports individual wellbeing in a community setting.
Thinking of returning to study? If you haven't studied in a while, this short course is an excellent way to ease back into learning and build your confidence while developing your skills and knowledge.
This skill set consists of units from nationally recognised and accredited qualifications:
- HTWHS002 (Follow safe work practices for direct care)
- HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid)
- CHCCOM005 (Communicate and work in health or community Services)
Successful completion of this skill set may provide credit towards further qualifications in aged care, disability support, and a range of other community services courses.
