What a powerhouse line-up it was for the Resources Technology Showcase (RTS)! South Metropolitan TAFE (SM TAFE) was proud to be part of this incredible three-day expo from 17-19 August, with future skills in the resource sector at the forefront.
RTS is one of Australia’s largest free STEM exhibitions, attracting over 22,500 guests this year, with 21 exhibitors. The expo is a melting pot of jaw-dropping tech and real-world science, designed to ignite young minds and inspire the next generation of innovators.
SM TAFE joined the event at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre with fellow training providers and industry, to put the spotlight on the courses we offer in the fields of resources, science and technology.
Flying the flag of SM TAFE with purple branding, our lecturing team spoke to hundreds of young people at the very beginning of their learning journey. It was all about sparking curiosity to provide a platform for future career thought bubbles, and visitors to our booth got hands-on with activities from our courses.
SM TAFE highlights:
Automation, Refrigeration & Energy Process – showcased the future of automation and energy efficiency, along with cutting-edge training tools. Our robotic arm was a crowd-pleaser! Explore related courses on our Engineering and Mining page.
