Do you want to take control of your future?

When you finish the Certificate II in General Education for Adults, you will be able to make a fresh start to your education. The Certificate II in General Education for Adults will meet the entry requirements for most Certificate II, III or IV level TAFE courses.

If you study at Thornlie or Armadale campus, you can choose elective units from:

  • construction, 
  • barista, 
  • cabin crew, 
  • game development foundations, or
  • general pathways

providing various options for you to become job-ready. 

This course is delivered over 3 days, and the choice of electives is all yours.

Is this course right for me?

Classes take place in an adult learning environment, with learners ranging in age from 15 to 90 years old. We recommend that students be at least 16 years old before enrolling in the Certificate of General Education for Adults. For school-aged students, enrolment is at the discretion of the Portfolio Manager, in consultation with the referring agency or school and our Duty of Care Team.
