If you need to access Student Portal, Blackboard, Microsoft 365 or the internet for your course and you don't have a computer or internet at home, you can come to any campus library to use one of our student computers.
How to access library computers
You don't need to book, just attend a campus library during opening hours.
What to bring from home
Be sure to bring with you your Student ID and password so you can access student systems. Before you can log in to any of our online systems, you first need to ensure you have set up your Microsoft 365 account. To get password assistance instructions, visit the manage your SM TAFE (Microsoft 365) student account (opens in a new tab) page.
You should also bring a USB to save your work and a notepad to take notes if using the library for researching your assignments.
If you would like to access Collaborate sessions using Blackboard to connect with your lecturer or other students online, you'll need to bring your own headphones, as none are available in the Library. Please be considerate of other users if accessing Collaborate sessions in the Library.
Library guides, catalogue and referencing help are all available on the library website(opens in a new tab) .
