Are you looking for recognition of your metal protection skills?

When you complete the Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application your skills and experience in the manufacturing and mechanical industries will be recognised.

Perform a wide range of protective coating application and surface preparations that occur across a variety of infrastructure, heavy industry and ships. The protective coatings may be liquid or solid and the surfaces being prepared are typically metal.

Learn in specialised facilities

South Metropolitan TAFE's Carlisle Campus is WA's major centre for automotive and panel beating studies. Automotive apprentices and pre-apprentices enjoy state of the art facilities, including new vehicles, specialised repair and diagnostic equipment, fully equipped spray painting ovens, specialised workrooms and workshops. This excellent training program is highly competitive.
