HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage

Our 12-month course combines expert-led training with real-world experience, guided by industry professionals who are passionate about healing and the musculoskeletal system. With a 3.5-day timetable, including a supervised student clinic, you’ll gain practical skills in a supportive, professional environment.
On completion, you’ll be a graduate with eligibility for provider numbers with all major private health funds, opening the door to exciting career opportunities in today's multidisciplinary healthcare system.

This course is low fee* for residents of Western Australia and temporary residents holding certain visa types. An annual fee cap of $400 for those aged 15-24 or concession holders or $1,200 for everyone else, applies to this course. Some eligibility conditions apply for the low fee training and other fees may apply for some courses. Please refer to the FAQs for more information.

This course is a VET Student Loan eligible course. A VET Student Loan creates a debt that must be repaid to the Commonwealth and is only available to students who are eligible.

Want a hands-on career? Massage therapy is now a vital part of today’s multidisciplinary healthcare system. Gain the knowledge, techniques, and confidence to make a lasting difference in your clients’ health and well-being.
Our Diploma of Remedial Massage students learn from industry experts who are passionate about the body, somatics, and pain science. Inspiring students' interest in the full spectrum of the musculoskeletal body and current treatment options to improve clients' health and well-being.
You will apply technical skills learnt in a supervised student massage clinic to meet the 200 hours of clinical practice, which is located in the Murdoch health precinct next to Fiona Stanley and St John of God Hospitals.
Once you graduate, you can work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restrictions in range of motion. You will also learn pregnancy massage, how to work specifically with chronic disease and pre- and post-sporting events.
On completion, you’ll be eligible for provider numbers with all major private health funds (including Medibank) through nationally accredited massage associations.
