Want a hands-on career?

Remedial massage therapists are in demand thanks to an increased trend for multi-disciplinary health care.

Our Diploma of Remedial Massage students learn from industry experts who are passionate about the body, somatics, and pain science. Inspiring student's interest in the full spectrum of the musculoskeletal body and current treatment options to improve clients' health and well-being.

You will apply technical skills learnt in a supervised student massage clinic to meet the 200 hours of clinical practice, which is located in the Murdoch health precinct next to Fiona Stanley and St John of God Hospitals.

Once you graduate you can work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restrictions in range of motion. You will also learn pregnancy massage, how to work specifically with chronic disease and pre and post sporting events.

On completion you will be eligible to apply for all private health care provider numbers (including Medibank) through nationally accredited massage associations.
