If you're 15 to 24 years old you may be entitled to a concession once enrolled in a certificate level course or one of the Diploma/Advanced Diploma level courses that are part of the Lower Fees, Local Skills program, or if you are a dependent of a person who holds or receives any of the following:
• A current Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card
• A current Repatriation Health Benefits Card issued by the Department of Veteran's Affairs
No concession is given for resource or other fees.
JobSeeker, Youth Allowance, AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY payments
To claim the concession rate, you must provide a valid concession card at the time you enrol. If you’re eligible, you will pay 30% of the tuition fees.

Secondary school-aged fee cap
For 2024, there is a cap of $420 per calendar year for students born on or after 1 July 2006, who are at least 15 years old, not enrolled at secondary school, and who undertake training that is not part of a Secondary school students (VETDSS) program.
The fee cap does not apply to Recognition of Prior Learning, resource fees or commercial courses.
Evidence required for concession rate
To have a concession rate applied to your enrolment, you need to show concession evidence if you're older than school-aged. if you're school-aged and have left school, you will need to show both proof of age evidence and proof of having left school.
