Defence Industry Internship and Graduate Scholarship Program

The Defence Industry Internship and Graduate Scholarship Program (DIIGS) is designed to ensure a pipeline of skilled professional and para-professional workers in WA's defence industry.

Through Programmed Training Services, these scholarships, exclusively for qualified students looking for a career in the Defence industry, provide opportunities in all five defence capability domains including information and cyber, land, sea, air and space offering first-hand practical experience with global leaders.

Eligible qualifications* relate to occupations including engineers, project managers, logistics-related personnel, technical officers, commercial management professionals, cyber and ICT professionals, and occupations that support a ‘smart’ Industry 4.0 defence industry workforce.

This program is funded by the West Australian State Government.
